about Vows Of Deception by Phyllis Campbell 2008-03-27 11:54:49

Excellent review for Vows Of Deception-

5-Hearts!! Ms. Phyllis Campbell does an excellent job with this historical romance; the plot is so interesting, the details present a story that is spell-binding. It reunites half-sisters who always had conflict; Madeline was younger than Judith, but she always managed to mess things up as she pushed to take whatever Judith held dear to her heart. Immediately upon seeing them, Maddie decided she loved Andrew and proceeded to take him away from her older sister.
Whatever the circumstances throughout this fiasco, Ms. Campbell delivers a compelling story which is guaranteed to captivate her readers. Her description of the areas of the story is graphic enough to encourage the readers to travel to Scotland and London! I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good historical love story. It is one of the best I've read! Congratulations, Ms. Campbell, on creating a masterpiece! ~~ Brenda Talley / The Romance Studio

about Ten Ways To Melt A Man's Heart by Phyllis Campbell 2008-03-27 11:53:49

Woo-Hoo...Phyllis is the Queen Of Sexual Tension!

5-Hearts! Phyllis Campbell has to have the title of Queen of Sexual Tension. She knows how to wind it up tight and have the reader sitting on the edge of her seat waiting for the big O. Captivated from the first page, this reviewer ooh’ed, aah’ed laughed out loud and sighed throughout the book. Ms. Campbell has created a luscious hero. Damien is not all he makes out to be and there are secrets and hidden depths to this wonderful man. Charlene is sunny, sexy and so accident-prone. Her accidents and misgivings will have the reader laughing. Even Max, who is shown at first to be not so sympathetic, is redeemed at the end. A satisfying read from start to finish and well deserving of five hearts!! Highly recommended! – Val / Love Romances

about Queen Of Hearts by Phyllis Campbell 2008-03-27 11:51:34

Phyllis has done it again with another Recommended Read -

RECOMMENDED READ!! Ms. Campbell has once again written another page-turner. This book takes you back to the days following the Civil War and the struggles the southerners faced to save their land and homes. It shows how the world has changed regarding female doctors. In those times, people were not ready to accept that women could do the same job as men. You will feel as though you are joining in a poker game, sitting in a saloon. You can almost hear the piano playing and the saloon girls dancing. Ms. Campbell has a way of making you feel like you are indeed part of the story as you feel the sexual tension grow between Cecilia and James. As always, Ms. Campbell earns her title as the Queen of Sexual Tension. This is another keeper for your bookshelf. ~~Sherry / My Book Cravings

about Pretend I'm Yours by Phyllis Campbell 2008-03-27 11:50:41

I love this review!

RECOMMENDED READ!!! Pretend I’m Yours is an exceptional masterpiece. This lovely story is so rich in detail and personalities that it just leaps out and grabs hold of the reader. From the moment I started reading about Mercedes and Katherine as they share their conversation, I was spellbound. Ms. Campbell carries the reader into a mirage of mystery with deceit, betrayal of the worst kind, and a passionate love revolving around the sisters, that makes this a whirlwind page-turner. Mercedes and William are astonishing characters that ignite the pages and allows the reader to experience all their deepening sensations. There were moments I could share in with their breathtaking romance, almost feeling the butterflies of love they emitted. This extraordinary read had me mesmerized with its ambiance, its characters and its remarkable twists and turns, making it one recommended read in my book. ~~Fallen Angel Reviews / Linda L.

about Mistletoe Magic by Phyllis Campbell 2008-03-27 11:50:08

Here is a great review -

RECOMMENDED READ!! Just in time for Christmas, MISTLETOE MAGIC. If you don't have much time between the shopping and the baking, here's three short stories to get you in the mood. In the mood for what, you ask? Christmas, girls, Christmas. Get your mind off the gingerbread man! And, of course, Phyllis Campbell is one of my favorite e-book authors and she does a great job with It Must Have Been the Mistletoe. It's another fun story about a fellow named Justin running away from his wedding only to find a lovely lady asleep in the back of his jeep. Of course, he doesn't discover her until he's way up into the mountains and the couple must spend enough time together to fall in love. It's a fun story and I enjoyed it tremendously. ~~ Romance Readers At Heart

about Holding Out For A Hero by Phyllis Campbell 2008-03-27 11:49:23

Another great review for one of Phyllis Campbell's stories, Holding Out For A Hero -

5-Roses! Ms. Campbell has written an exciting western that will have you rapidly turning the pages for the shocking climax. The secondary characters of Clint and Violet carry this story well with their own secrets. This book will have you laughing out loud with Summer’s antics. She is feisty to the core. Her and Jesse’s banter brings humor one minute and the next minute you want to cry because the book is so emotional. I love this kind of story that takes you on an emotional roller coaster. And you feel a part of the Wild West, filled with bank robbers, Texas Rangers and life on the western frontier. This book will have western lovers like me clamoring for more stories to come and waiting for your perfect hero. ~~ My Book Cravings / Sherry

about Her Knight Of Seduction by Phyllis Campbell 2008-03-27 11:48:08

Here is a great review for Her Knight Of Seduction -

5-Angels!! I thought Her Knight of Seduction was a compelling read. Megan and Edmund are delightful characters that make chemistry come alive with every turn of the page. Their banter, and mere eye contact, oozes throughout the book. Edmund’s voice alone grasps hold of the reader and holds tightly. They share emotions that practically spring off the pages and touch the reader. Phyllis Campbell pens a historical romance that is most satisfying. She draws her characters very well. They are believable and the storyline flows consistently. The secondary characters add that extra pizzazz to keep the story interesting. Even the mother has traits that can be felt and where this reader wanted to take hold of her and shake her hard. This is one stunning tale that is a winner! ~~ Fallen Angel Reviews / Linda L.

about Danger In Her Arms by Phyllis Campbell 2008-03-27 11:46:56

I found this great review for Danger In Her Arms -

5-Hearts!! Phyllis Campbell has written a chilling suspense story that is exciting, captivating and very sensuous. Ms. Campbell is well known for her sexual tension and in this story the tension is high between Cory and Taylor. Ms. Campbell expertly creates cliff hangers that keep the reader turning those cyber pages. Full of emotions, the characters are put through their paces as they strive to stop a madman and figure out the complications of their burning attraction to each other and the misunderstandings that had built up since Bermuda. Secondary characters give the story depth and Ms. Campbell can always be relied upon to give her readers a really good read. This book is a definite do-not-miss and this reviewer is going to be lining up for the print version that comes out in June for her keeper shelf. ~~ Val / Love Romances and More

about Always, My Love by Phyllis Campbell 2008-03-27 11:45:53

I found this great review for Always, My Love -

5 Blue Ribbons! As a reader, an emotional connection is easily made with
Catherine and the conundrum she finds herself in; wanting to marry the man
she loves yet committed to an older man. She is funny and smart and
passionate. Her circumstances would bring many to their knees but
Catherine manages to hold her head up and keep going strong. The
genuine fear she has of her father is well portrayed and the emotional
crippling came through loud and clear. Nicholas is a charming rascal, a
hero of the finest order. Brave and sexy, strong and smart, his devotion to
Catherine is apparent from the first meeting. His internal struggle is
realistically presented and garnered sympathy from this reader more and
more as the story progressed. I laughed and I cried as these two star
crossed lovers were thrown one curve after another on the rocky journey to
happily ever after. The skillfully woven story kept me enthralled until the
dramatic end. The passion sizzles between Catherine and Nicholas, burning up the pages as the pair comes together in a deeply emotional way. I could almost feel the emotion as I read each scene the lovers shared. The secondary cast enhances the story, adding that extra zip that readers wish for in an intense story. Once I started to read I found I could not put the book down. I am honored to recommend ALWAYS MY LOVE by Phyllis Campbell; this one will remain on my eReader for a very long time.
