about Lincoln Child 2007-05-21 12:12:25

My son just finished Deep Storm. He stayed up until 1am to get it finished on a school night!

I have read ALL of his collaborations with Douglas Preston. I LOVE the Pendergast series. I started with Still Life With Crows. (book 4) You can read them in any order. I was addicted to them from that point on! I find their work to be fun, informative, intelligent, sophisticated, and twisted. I especially like how they tackle religion. There are some themes where they are taking on "Spiritual" issues, but you would be hard pressed to figure out their personal beliefs. Unlike Bass, (Flesh and Bone I HATED insulted the reader) they don't use their writing as a soapbox for their theology/philosophy. They come at everything with a fresh perspective allowing the readers to guide themselves. There are entire websites dedicated to their books. I find them to be the most addictive writers of my time. I can't wait until their nect book comes out 8-28-07!
