All of Connie Willis' books are love stories. All (so far) use different definitions of love than we typically find. Think not erotic love, but think filial and platonic.

I started reading her works when I found out she was one of only two authors who have won Nebula awards in all lengths from short story to novel. She quickly moved to the top tier of my favorites list.
