There are a number of series of books and co-authored books. Favorites include Dragon Riders of Pern series where you might best start with Dragons Dawn. Other series starters I loved Freedoms Landing, Decision at Doona, Crystal Singer, and the Death of Sleep. Many of her novels feature dual story lines of struggle against nature and searching for intimacy. The science part of the fiction is plausible enough to pull the reader into the story and to tell the story in page turning manner. The images tend to stick with the reader far after finishing the book. I have read almost every book she has written. OK, I admit I tend to read an author's entire collection if I like three or more of the books.
