I read Consigned to Death and found it a captivating read. The main character is smart and the plotting and characters are top notch. I really enjoyed learning about the antiques business too, and I am not a collector or anything. Great mystery story. Looking forward to reading her newest book, Deadly Appraisal.

Jane used to own a rare book and antiques store in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and now lives in New York City with her husband. Her first novel, Consigned to Death, was a finalist for the Agatha for Best First Novel. The second Josie Prescott Antiques Mystery, Deadly Appraisal, has just been published.
