I am very familiar with the work of Ginger Simpson. She has a huge following from what I hear. I enjoy her work very much.

Ginger was born and raised in California. Her only means of glimpsing the rest of the world was through reading and she did that avidly. She has had a passion for western historicals for as long as she can remember. If you visited her grammar school and checked the library records, you'd probably find her name listed countless times on everyone of Laura Ingalls Wilder's books.
