I'm not religious by nature but I read this book and found it to be compelling and well documented. Mr. Stoutland has successfully probed every facet of Christianity and has created a rich tour of Christian dogma and history.

Fred Stoutand is a retired senior business executive living in Palm Desert, California with Millie, his wife. They have been married since 1952. Their four married children are Christians, blessing them with eleven grandchildren.
Fred and Millie were born and raised in the Greater New York area. They met in the Brooklyn, New York church their parents attended. They lived on Long Island until his company transferred him to California in 1973, where he headed up that part of the country for its marketing department. Later, Fred moved to Tennessee to become president of another life insurance company. He returned to California in 1989 and went into early retirement and consulting work.
During his adult life, Fred was busily involved in Christian ministries as a leader, speaker and writer. He served on regional and national denomination committees, was a founder and first Chairman of the Board for what is now one of the largest Christian Conference centers in America (Tuscarora Inn), and was a director for the Masters College and Seminary, a Christian school led by Rev. John MacArthur. He has spoken in churches, at Bible camps, conventions, and retreats. He continues to be a local Sunday school teacher, Bible study leader, and writes articles for Christian periodicals. The two books presented on this website are recent publications. Other books are in the works.
Fred says that late in his life he experienced trials of his own making that changed him from a lackadaisical Christian to a more obedient, compassionate one. In his darkest hour, he gave up his willfulness and surrendered his all to Christ. It has given him a love for God that he never knew before.
