I'm not religious by nature but I read this book and found it to be compelling and well documented. Mr. Stoutland has successfully probed every facet of Christianity and has created a rich tour of Christian dogma and history.

Fred Stoutand is a retired senior business executive living in Palm Desert, California with Millie, his wife. They have been married since 1952. Their four married children are Christians, blessing them with eleven grandchildren.

Fred and Millie were born and raised in the Greater New York area. They met in the Brooklyn, New York church their parents attended. They lived on Long Island until his company transferred him to California in 1973, where he headed up that part of the country for its marketing department. Later, Fred moved to Tennessee to become president of another life insurance company. He returned to California in 1989 and went into early retirement and consulting work.
