Mary Higgins Clark is the best of the best. Her unique style of writing was different at the time to suspence readers. Her ability to move each character closer and closer as one read the chapters, kept the reader rivited to the pages. A relief at the end when the perp was caught. Very few times did I figure out who it was.
She took her storyline right out of the newpapers. They were up to date and touched the reader on many levels. The movies that followed only enhanced the need to read more of her books. Now that her daughter has joined her in the literary field, we are blessed to know that her style and stories will never be forgotten.

Mary Higgins Clark (born December 24, 1927 in Bronx, New York) is an American novelist currently residing in Saddle River, New Jersey. In 1974, she entered Fordham University at Lincoln Center and graduated summa cum laude in 1979, with a B.A. in philosophy.
