Categorization is odious. There is tremendous overlap among genres. These pigeonholes are offered only as a convenience.

I strongly suggest picking up The Bride Stripped Bare.
I first grabbed this book at Target because the title and cover art intrigued me. But as I flipped through the pages, I realized it spoke to me on a deep and personal level. It's the story of a woman who discovers that she's terribly unhappy in her marriage. While the style isn't for everyone (being a series of diary entries written by the main character), the emotions evoked by the author are intense. I found this a deeply touching and healing book for me as I was going through a divorce.
I cannot recommend this book enough to all women, and the men who love them. It will help women examine their feelings about their mates (both good and bad, and face it ladies, we all have both) and give men some insight into feelings your mates won't often feel comfortable sharing.
