I'm the author - Lorena McCourtney.
I live in southern Oregon, with my husband Jim. I have one son, two stepdaughters, and a granddaughter. We've lived out in the country for many years and just recently moved to town. Big-time adjustment!
I've been writing for a long time, and my upcoming book (in a new series) is my 39th book. I majored in Agriculture in college, but after a brief stint with a midwestern meat-packing company, I realized I didn't want to spend my life writing about raising hogs and making sausage.
I think "Invisible" would be an excellent place to start reading my books. That book is the first one published in my Ivy Malone Mysteries series. Ivy is an older woman who is dismayed to realize she seems to have aged into invisibility. But she also realizes "invisibility" can be a valuable asset for a sleuth and sets out to put it to good use. These are lighthearted, fun books. (Written because I'd experienced some dismaying "invisibility" myself!) There are three more books in the series, "In Plain Sight, "On The Run," and "Stranded."
The first book in my new series, "Your Chariot Awaits," is about a lady with a limousine - and a dead body in the trunk. This is also a fun, lighthearted mystery series.
