I want to like Oz more than I actually like him. I feel I should--but I don't. Anyone have a recommendation for a book that might get me into him?

I would be happy to recommend one, yet I find it strange that on your personal profile, which I referenced to discover your tastes so that I might recommend a book to you, you list Oz as one of your favorite writers. Given that you seem to have a penchant for inner conflict, I recommend Black Box, in which the protagonist repeatedly discredits herself.
